Allow us to introduce this weeks guest! John Ute founder of the GameTree App  has a background in psychology, and he used his knowledge to figure out the effect the Jungian personality types have on the way people play games. He developed a version of the 16-personality types tests that assigns people a “gamer personality.” Gametree  uses that knowledge to make sure to pair you with people who will make your game session more enjoyable -- people that complement your skills and share your idea of what “GG” means.

Host Rob Garcia, Host Kelvin Rolon, and guest John Ute bring you the latest gaming news this week: God of War Ragnarok finally gets a release date (1:55), Forspoken Delayed( 13:33) and What is Hypercharge? Why is everyone talking about it?! (18:54)

John has a background in psychology, and he used his knowledge to figure out the effect the Jungian personality types have on the way people play games. He developed a version of the 16-personality types tests that assigns people a “gamer personality.” Our app uses that knowledge to make sure to pair you with people who will make your game session more enjoyable -- people that complement your skills and share your idea of what “GG” means.

John is a fun conversationalist and quite good on camera and audio -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRzPlMb0guE -- and is happy to go as deep or light as you’d like in gamer psychology, what makes a great game session, multiplayer or co-op game dynamics, and what it means to build a gaming company that doesn’t have “profit” as the main driver.
